Chaos theory revisited …

Usually my life seems to be a state which evolves with time. It’s funny how we don’t truly learn from all of our mistakes until we revisit them from a different perspective.

If people only took the time to think of the repercussions for certain choices before they are made then maybe the world would be better off. I find myself judging the things I do before I even do them. It’s not because I feel they are wrong, I just think if one were to think of mistakes that can be made before making them, then we can avoid scenarios where we must learn from our mistakes.

Case and point, we all grow up thinking our parents don’t know any better, that we’ll somehow avoid the same outcomes from following the same path. So what happens? Most people will ignore, make the same mistake as their parents and still refuse to admit they were wrong.

I don’t even know why some people try sometimes.

I mean, it’s noble that kids (listen to me … I sound like an adult) want to learn and experience things for themselves, but why must this repetition occur? I’m just trying to help and you insist on figuring out for yourself. We’re all guilty of this, it’s something that’s only learned with age and just like those I mentor, I’m sure I’ll ignore the warnings of people that have been there and back.

I’ll try to catch myself; self awareness is always a step in the right direction. You know, “heal the world by first healing yourself…” and all of that jazz.

Is the human race doomed for a constant repetition? Or are we destined to merely evolve with time? I guess you can’t force lessons or evolution on people. I guess we all just have to learn from experience.
